Don’t Treat this Cleanings Like Leap Day!
Let’s celebrate because today is Leap Day! That means this year, February has 29 days instead of 28, we have an extra day in the calendar. Yay!
As we know, the Leap Year or Leap Day occurs every four years to adjust our calendar with the solar year.
Putting astronomy apart, there are some cleanings that although we don’t need to do so often, we don’t have to treat them like the Leap Day!
3 cleaning ideas to do before the next Leap Year!
- Consider upgrading your patio furniture
Spring is just around the corner and we are getting closer to the days we spend more time outside. Nothing as a clean and organize patio for a cookout, barbecue, football, or just some quality time with friends and family.
Over time, the weather (heat, cold, and rain) can damage outdoor furniture by causing rust, cracks, mold and mildew.
We strongly recommend covering the furniture to prevent extensive damage, keeping cushions in covered boxes while not in use, or replacing cushions as they age.
- Deep clean and organize your garage
It’s very common to throw all the junk in the garage. As a consequence with lack of maintenance, it can become borderline unusable.
Get rid of unnecessary items and organize tools and equipments in shelves, boxes or hangers. You cannot imagine how this can optimize your space!
- Sort through your attic
Another place often neglected is the attic. It can get easily cluttered with old memorabilia that is hard to let it go of or other items in general.
We suggest sorting out items to keep, throw away, or donate. Organize items in boxes and label them to make easier to identify.
Remember: “A clean place makes a happy space!” ?
